We are pleased to announce that Onomastica has become a member of COPE - Committee of Publication Ethics.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Professor Barbara Czopek-Kopciuch, Editor-in-chief of Onomastica journal, who passed away on 7th July 2020.

We invite Authors to submit original articles (both theoretical and documentary research), as well as review articles, concerning proper names in all their aspects and varieties to publish in 64th issue of Onomastica (2020). We welcome proper-name-focused contributions from all linguistic disciplines as well as from other non-linguistic fields such as philosophy of language, history, geography, sociology or cultural studies etc.
The deadline for submission is April 17th, 2020.
